It's all in the Details

Are you like me, do you notice the details?
Like the tea cozy, on the fabulously acted
BBC sitcom Vicious.  Marvelously acted and
styled.

Happy National Pancake Day I learned about  from Susan Branch.
Do you notice the details in books,
Jan Karon's Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good.
   He wouldn't say anything now,
but he was thinking of the rose garden for the wedding.
June, of course. The low stone wall, and they would need
an arch.  Seven Sisters would be the perfect climber.

Seven Sisters found at the Antique Rose Emporium.

Do you study the book shelves on blogs?
Oh yes, I do because the company
we keep in books tells us a lot about ourselves
and others.
Like here from Coco Rose Diaries.

I have all but Miss Dahl on my library shelf.

Never Never to Late

Oh my gosh.  We woke up this morning to music.
Mr. Lee decided to add to his over 3,500 song Ipod
music collection.  We all get into it.

The kids selected from the HairSpray sound
track.  I picked a Jake Owen's song and Mr. Lee
select alternative rock sounds.  My preference is to
male voices and his is to the female variety.
Roadtrip mixes.

Then, I bounced over to Susan Branch's
blog.  And, drum roll please, the piece de resistance,
bump over to Minding the Workplace, my favorite anti-bullying
blog, for a link to Huffington's post on 50 over 50.

Then Uncle Joe sends me an invite to
Advanced Style Documentary.

Hugs

Thank you to Pam from PamKittyMorning for stopping by. I have a post all planned for Pam. Pam and I have never met and she doesn't know it but I am a No. California transplant. I've lived in So. Cal since 1986 but my heart and soul belong to the Bay Area coastside.

The get-along-gang, our multi-generational family, have taken two road trips up to Livermore and it was all about Pam's blog. One trip in September 2007 and another in April 2008. That is all I am going to say for now because we have photos to share.

Hugs.
