Happy Birthday, Jessica

Not a day goes by that we don't feel blessed to have the
blessing of family and friends.  We have an extended family of
friends so close, so sweet, sharp minded and witted.

Really incredibly witty and well read.

Today is Adorable, Jessica's birthday.  I have thought of
her all day.  How much I miss seeing her on a
daily basis.  How much a miss sharing lunch.

She's probably studying right now.
So proud of all her accomplishments.

We love you.  Happy Birthday.
Many more years of celebrating and cheer.
Years of building memories with your
precious husband.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Jessica.
from all of us.

And yes, we want to go to see Charles Phoenix.
Just need to check on a sitter.

Happy Thanksgiving

Whew, what a year indeed.
A year of severe pruning.
In the end my blessings were there all along.
Love of family and friends.
And the casting of crowns.
Amen.

Happy Thanksgiving.

WEEEEEEE

Joe and I always read in the car.  Smiley faces all around.

Revelations 4:4-10

4.Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones,
and seated on them were twenty-four elders.
They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.
Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing.
These are the seven spirits of God.
6 Also before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,
clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne,
were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox,
the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.
8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings
and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings.
Day and night they never stop saying:
"HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE Lord GOD ALMIGHTY,
WHO WAS, AND IS, AND IS TO COME."
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory,
honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne
and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the
twenty-four elders fall down before him
who sits on the throne, and worship him
who lives for ever and ever.
They lay their crowns before the throne and say.

Being Queen

This past weekend the get-along-gang visited my hometown.
Joe started a trend of calling our little group the Queen and
her court.  So glad when my very funny sibling gets it
right.

There is so much show and tell in me but Mr. Lee is
telling me it is time to get in the shower.. Everyone
else is ready.

A whole adventure is planned for today.

Inspiration for today's path:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Message for Today

Be silent and wait for the Lord.

One of my goals for traveling north was to sit on a familiar beach
with my childhood friend.

We didn't make it down to the shore.  The high tide and sand
storm made it impossible but we did get to stand in silent awe.

Canning Ring Wreath

Wish I had bought this lovely wreath.  The canning rings are
more expensive than I thought.
Maybe pick some up at garage sales.

Whether you really can or craft  with the rings remember:
Tattler rings and canning lids are BPA free.

When in Half Moon Bay we always stop by this little jewel.
Just a reminder: the more things you have in common with
your life mate the better.  On this trip we visited coffee shops,
used book stores, nurseries and the local Feed and Fuel
(more on another day).

There is much to see....

Mr. Lee and I are both crafty. So we "get"
each others visions.

Can you tell who actually likes to ride horses?

He relaxed after a bit.  Lots of photo ops.

Visiting Our Loved Ones

There are so many fond memories frolicking in my mind.
As kids we would ride our bikes up this hill and literally fly down
at top speeds. There was the smell of eucalyptus and a fresh creek
breeze whipping against our rosy cheeks.

We would create crayon etching of the beautiful stones.  We
weren't scared and didn't think hanging out in cemetery was creepy.

We still don't think so and either do the kids.
That's my brother, Joe, Holly and Jacob.
