An Evening at the Theatre

Last night was date night.

Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers
featuring Edie Birckell at the beautiful
Fox Performing Arts Center in downtown Riverside.
Not only is Steve Martin a successful stand up and
actor, he is an accomplished musician.
This concert had everything. 

The most memorable lyric of the evening
was something like the chicken woke 
up happy knowing it wasn't fried.


I know exactly how that chicken feels to
simply wake up. To have a spirit of gratitude.
This song is new so I couldn't find it to share
but I will keep looking.
